Committees and topics

There will be five committees in MUNBP 2026:

SC - Security Council

Topic: Innovative Approaches to Enhancing Regional Stability in the Middle East and South Asia with Special Emphasis on Non-State Actors in Israel–Gaza and Cross-Border Tensions between India and Pakistan.

DISEC - Disarmament and International Security

Topic: Measures to Strengthen Global Nuclear Disarmament Frameworks with Special Regards to Emerging Nuclear States and the Modernization of Existing Arsenals.

HRC - Human Rights Council

Topic: The abolition of the death penalty as a way to protect human dignity, uphold rights that cannot be taken away, and challenge systems that risk weakening the value of life.

ECOSOC - Economic and Social Council

Topic: Measures to promote sustainable development through post-conflict reconstruction, and enhanced economic opportunities for refugees and displaced communities.

WHO - World Health Organization

Topic: Measures to ensure and improve health care for people living in war zones with a special regard to Civilians in Gaza.
